Did all of the Golf Mk2s in the US have a Jetta-style front? In my time in America, I've seen hardly any Golfs of this generation. I guess they were never as successful as the original Mk1 AKA "Rabbit"? On the contrary, I've seen thousands of Jettas from the same era. |

In both Mark II series in our market has same front end with composite headlight version only. In subsequent mark series, they have separate front end, not sure.  |

The orignal European grille and lamps for the Golf II are very interesting for Golf-fans in the USA, as I've read in an US-VW-forum. Perhaps a chance to make money with the export. Over here, you can find them on every junkyard for a few Cents. Usually noone offeres these parts at Ebay, because for sure noone outside the USA and Canada will pay money for it. |
