I have a book called "10 år med HT-busser" (10 years with HT buses) by Kai W. Mosgaard, which deals with buses in Copenhagen, and was published in 1984.
According to that book the above one is a 1967-73 Volvo B 58-60 with body by either Aabenraa (1967-72) or DAB serie II (1972-73). The only differences being (if I understand this correctly) several (seven of them) round rear lights on the earlier one and several rectangular rear lights on the latter.

Link to one http://myldretid.dk/billeder/vis_billede.php?foto_id=3505 .
All the ones delivered to HT were Volvo B 58-60, but other bus companies had shorter buses like the one in the link (B 58-55).
As the above one has six windows between the front and the rear door, while the one in the link has five, I belive the bus in question is a B 58-60 (if a Volvo?).

Were some built on Leyland chassis as well? I haven't found any.

Would it be at all possible to have a look on the wheels?

There's a distinctive difference between Volvo and Leyland wheels.

Would it be at all possible to see the rear of the bus?
