dsl ◊ 2015-03-09 23:42	Decided this was a better find than all the various Rootes-jewels in this sequence. Impossible to find definite info on the pick-up but seems Oct 54 launch and this is early one before later facelift to give Pennant-style advanced headlights with hoods - http://www.oldclassiccar.co.uk/standard-van.htm . One quote "Like the van and pick-up which appeared around the same time the Companion bodies were delivered from Fisher and Ludlow part-completed, and fitted with their rear bodywork by Mulliner of Birmingham at their Bordesley Green factory."
