Interesting. The stripes are too narrow. '71 Tempest made up to resemble a LeMans? |

All 1971 LeMans had apparently not automatically stripes, even in IMCDb stuff. Once again, we shouldn't use "auto-source" without some external searches... Grille, hood, dual headlamps, all seem to indicate a 1971 Pontiac LeMans. (About the 1971 Tempest lead: according to Wikipedia, "The Tempest nameplate was phased out after the 1970 model year". ) -- Last edit: 2015-03-09 19:56:56 |

The wrecked one seems to be a 1970 model, with larger stripes. But the main one is not a 1970 model, not even a 1971 one, in fact: ![]() (1970, 1971 & 1972 grilles) (It really weird for me to write LeMans in a single word. I lived several years in the city of Le Mans, so the white space is a kind of reflex ) -- Last edit: 2015-03-11 06:20:30 |
