And 'putain' is naturally not to be taken at its face value. In this case it would be just like 'fuck!' or 'shit!'—which are not to be taken at their face value, most of the time, right? Well, I was expressing my satisfcation to be through with this tiresome uploading. Next time, I'll say "Je suis bien content d'avoir enfin terminé", for the sake of a change.
