All these italian cars at a time were "Nuova-something", no? It is still a Fiat 500, they just call the latest model "Nuova", like Renault puts "nouvelle" in front of the latest model when they release it |

Called "nuova 500" to make a difference with the original Fiat 500 "Topolino". Even if I remember Fiat 500 badged "nuova 500", they were not called like that in France especially because we never had "Topolino" but Simca 5 and Simca 6 instead. As we list SuperCinq as Renault 5 Mk2, nuova 500 should be listed Fiat 500 |
