A.k.a. Suburban Carrier, it was the GMC sibling of the Chevrolet Cameo Carrier, which this pickup is clearly not (see the rear fenders) But like the Suburban Carrier, this truck has the smallest available specs of the 1955-59 Blue Chip truck line (114"/2.90 m wheelbase and 78,125"/1.98 m bed), making it a ½-ton 100. With a 1955-56 grille and the 1955 only "grille extension panels" (metal pieces between the park lamps and the bumper).
