Hey I own the twin to this Hearse except mine has a different tailgate. It appears to be a W G Smith built one and it could be a 1959 1960 or 1961 or even a 62 - In Australia we got 59 fords for three years and missed out on the USA models. For photos of mine or to contact me check out my bands website; www.wildturkeymusic.com If anyone knows where the Hearse from the film is or has any information on it please let me know! -- Last edit: 2008-11-28 17:08:11 |

I have had some leads on the Hearse from Midnite Spares but they have lead to dead ends. I was told a guy around Sydney had the Hearse and another almost identical but no idea where they are now? If anyone knows call me - John 0438008390 -- Last edit: 2010-01-25 15:12:57 |

Hey I just found another clip that features a 1959 Ford Hearse that could be this car but painted a dark color. It was made 9 years earlier than Midnite Spares and has NSW number plates which indicates it is in the same state so you never know! Here is a link to the clip which is about the demise of Go Set Magazine in 1974. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1VVe3_7vvHg |
