 Well isn't the location more important? I don't want to be all Bart De Wever about this, but the language doesn't depend on the manufacturer. In a Dutch series we also have "begrafenisauto" for example on a Cadillac /vehicle_514985-Cadillac-DTS-Begrafenisauto-2006.html |

What if the location was in Brussels then ? Would we have to write it in two languages, French and Dutch ? And which one first ?  For this fire truck, I'd prefer to mention only the name of the equipment builder/outfitter, because we don't know how Riffaud called this exact equipment. |

- for wagons: the name is translated by the company who sells the car, hence why the localized name - for hearses: it is usually not the real name, like Ambulance... I do not know why we translate these actually... we shouldn't - for cases like this one, I do not see the point of translating that. Either it is a descriptive name added just here for the site, so in English; either it is the name given by the company who sold it, and I doubt they translated it... |
