The nickname 'Fergie' refers to the grey TE20 rather than this. The first Ferguson FE35 with grey body and bronze coloured chassis was nicknamed Guldkalv in Sweden, translated to something like 'money maker' or direct translation = golden calf by the colour and because it was a money (and back) savior for many farms. I have seen the red MF35 be called this too, but probably wrongly. I don't know it there was a similar nickname in other countries. |
