its a known vehicle in the UK..it was traded from france for an undisclosed british tank...the panther was more or less complete but has a small calibre anti tank gun shot hole between the drive wheels, from its time on a firing range, possibly at Saumur.it was one of a handful of running panthers used by the French army after Ww2 and was refurbished for the French Army by the AMX France company, they ground out the tanks original Ww2 chassis number and restamped an AMX rebuild number on it so although the name of who assembled the vehicle is no longer known, it is known that the hull and turret were made at the Herman goering Steel Works,Lintz,Austria -- Last edit: 2015-03-01 22:37:42 |
