Although there are some old Corollas (1998 models) in taxicab use, Vioses are the common anywhere in the country. But Baguio City isn't a Vios place since they prefer Toyota Innovas/Avanzas/Revos, Isuzu Crosswinds and Mitsubishi Adventures as taxicabs due to the geography there. There are only few Vios, Kia Rio, an odd ball Lifan 520 and a Toyota Yaris (a car which isn't common for taxicab usage) when I went there last January.
cko ◊ 2014-12-19 23:55	I was in Northern Mindanao. Pretty much all Vios now, though I did see a few Kia Prides still bearing taxi markings, most of which sitting alongside the road with flat tires.

Yeah, lots of Vios but my friend who lives there lots of Corolla Altis (9th and 10th gen) being used as taxis. Although there are only a number in other places.

Although there are only a number in other places. Mostly Cagayan de Oro, but also Iligan and parts of Bukidnon. I remember the broken down kia cabs in Iligan.
