The conglomerate company Sunbeam-Talbot-Darracq made some good cars before the Rootes takeover, but no money.  My point was that the acknowledged marque expert refers to AV105 rather than 105AV.

I'm sorry I can't help more in respect of whether these cars are of different design, Talbot's downfall seems to have been partly due to a plethora of different models.
