Dodge Daytona Turbo Z or Chrysler Daytona...was the canadian one a Turbo Z? Was '86 the year they painted the window surrounds and t-tops black? It doesn't have the wheels of the C/S package like this one. /vehicle_237851-Dodge-Daytona-1986.html -- Last edit: 2014-12-04 02:02:39 |

After 1986, the Daytona was exported to Canada as the Chrysler Daytona, officially ending Canadian Daytona sales under the Dodge marque. The turbo version of the Laser could be recognized by its use of black hood louvers |

According to IMDb the first season was filmed in Los Angeles, the second in Canada so..... IF a first season episode Dodge Daytona... 2nd season.... Chrysler Daytona |

Couldn't find any good examples except this one showing they were Turbo Z too. Link to "www.motorbase.com" Since Canada, first year would then be 1986. |

Would it not be a 1987 model then since this episode was filmed in Canada?? |

Wow..I commented on this car 16 years ago and now i actually own one in the same color and with t-tops. Except mine's a Dodge. Never thought I'd actually own one. 1986 was the first year the t-tops were offered on the Daytona. 1984 and 1985 got sunroofs. -- Last edit: 2020-04-23 00:09:12 |
