Location is Inverness I believe, from what I caught of dialogue.

 I'm fairly sure that the location is Falkland, Fife, with the Bruce Fountain visible to the right. The building on the left may be the Covenanter Hotel.

 I don't know Falkland very well at all - a brief visit many years ago - but can well believe kudos comment ^. One of the photos in links posted by Carrie93 on the forum page - Link to "www.sbrownpix.com" - shows Dalneigh parish church which is an Inverness suburb. Not sure where

is or if genuinely in that state - reminds me of this discussion about CGI dereliction of Caerlaverock Castle, near Dumfries. They were doing a lot of filming near Kinloch Rannoch (Perthshire) at start of this year with local paper saying many other Scottish locations used, so this is likely to throw lots of scattered places.

 Castle confirmed as Doune Castle, Perthshire - http://i.accesshw.com/production/images/202/originals//202453.jpg and Link to "www.scotsman.com" before being sprinkled with CGI . Falkland a confirmed location as well, also Culross and Pollok Park (Glasgow). Many studio scenes apparently filmed in a "huge" warehouse in Cumbernauld just off the M80 NE of Glasgow.
