Yes, they were real, just not official versions of the car. The scenes where it jumped out of the skyscrapers were either heavily altered with expensive visual effects or completely fabricated through Computer Generated images. I think it's annoying when people just dismiss expensive and difficult visual effects and label it at CGI. grow a fucking brain and do your research.
