It does appear to be a Vauxhall [E] and probably Velox. Hub caps, rear arch stone guard and chrome side strip plus general shape confirm it. The slimmer bumper profile and over-riders should begin to date it further. |

From where I was sitting earlier tonight it was a c.1956 Hawk, its nsr wing stone guard matching that on a similar car in Bing images. Aft of the stone guard should be the filler flap, not visible in this dark shot. |
