The indicator lights look far too modern, so I'd suspect this to be a replica... |

Well this is a "modern" 1963 - 1965 356 C Cabriolet. The indicators fit perfectly. Link to "upload.wikimedia.org" The hubcabs are typical Porsche, too. |

Firstly, the '1963-65' of the wikimedia refers to MY1964-65 which a 356C would be. This is a 1961 356B. (T5 body. Last year of 'Porsche' script was 1960. This doesn't have it. Hence a 1961. Neither the flat hubcaps of a disc brake equipped 356C) It's even a Super 90 with these wheels. |

Obviously, again, I did not see the details. You're totally right with your definition ;-). I just took a short look to identify it as a real Porsche. And the 356 C is the one you can see daily in summer int my area :-D. So it was just my fist impression. Thanks, learned something. |

HD picture:![]() I couldn't get the current main image shot, because "Lausanne, Switzerland" remains in the picture a few seconds longer in my version. |

Rear indicator lenses are for a US market car. This photo shows a Swiss 1961 356 B. ![]() -- Last edit: 2019-01-22 20:30:16 |
