For USA this would be a 1990-93 R129 500 SL. Quite rare in red. Was it driven aggressively? |

Well, there is one scene where it weaves through traffic on wet pavement. Near the end of the movie, they park it on a old water-damaged dock. A few minutes later, the dock collapses into the water along with the car due to the car's excessive weight. |

This isn't a 1990 model, as it has the newer OEM 8-Spoke wheels introduced for 1992 and the sports 4-spoke steering wheel (W140 launched). |

Not a 1990 model, this is a bit newer in being either a 1992 or 1993 model. The steering wheel isn't the first generation rectangular-shaped airbag version, neither are the wheels 15-spokes, but the newer for 1992 8-spokes. Please change it. |
