MisterZ ◊ 2014-09-01 16:25	Not sure. That's what the VIN is saying - it can't be false. In Australia this model went on sale December 1996. It's common for production of a model to start a few months before it actually goes on sale, so the June build date sounds right to me. Incidentally, the car is still registered, after 18 years (EDIT: as of 2016, registration has been cancelled. Looks like it just missed making it to 20). As of 2019, there are only 1200 of this generation (1995-2000) Mondeo remaining in Australia. Considering 17,000 were sold, this means that only 7% remain on the roads. -- Last edit: 2020-03-05 11:01:44
