Sunbar ◊ 2014-08-30 11:20	1923 Leyland truck range 30cwt, 2-ton, 3-ton, 4-ton, 5-ton and 6-ton, plus the 4-ton RAF type rebuilt Subsidy A (3-ton as WD). Known as G-types or G-range 'G1' to 'G8' trucks and passenger chassis, probably a G-Range 3 or 4-tonner here. Too heavy for 2-ton or 30cwt, 3 or 4-ton most popular and RAF rebuilt subsidy truck less likely to survive in regular use. Up to 3,000 RAF ex-WD rebuilt Subsidy 3-ton trucks produced by Leyland but sold at a loss and many scrapped to prevent damage to Leyland's reputation.
