It's a Panzer II, known here as 1937 MAN Pz.Kpfw.II and probably Ausf.C. |

^ and I was hoping DSL could get a crash course on tanks... ![]() BTW doesn't that main gun look really pathetic... with this did the germans start the war and they ended the war with tanks like the Panther, Tiger, Tiger 2 .. shows the rapid progress of the technology the british never really had good tanks in WW2 as proof by 1944 they used almost exclusively american designs -- Last edit: 2014-08-23 23:05:34 |

what is so difficult about them DSL for you ? seriously the best way to ID tanks is via the track chassis and turret design , this early tanks are very distinct design each you can ID some Jaguar via little badges or hubcaps and you can't ID a tank at all ? -- Last edit: 2014-08-24 00:01:34 |

Different brains work different ways. I'm familiar with Jags or Minxes or Minis or whatever and their little squiddly bits, and if I need to double-check I've got reference sources. If I wanted to start on tanks or tractors or US land yachts I'd be starting so far back without a pile of reference material, and we've got enough experts for those already so unlikely I could add anything useful. |
