It's a "Series 62" convertible, NOT an "Eldorado" or "El Dorado" (two words sometimes were used in the first year but everybody quickly went to the single word). BTW, the seat pattern of the '54 "Eldorado" is different from this one. |

Note also that the Cadillac crest (emblem) on the front fender, above the script name, "Cadillac", is NOT part of the standard trim for this model. Probably it was added later by someone who thought the car was not immediately recognizable as a Cadillac ! |
