NTG Motor Services remind all who might not have been precocious schoolboys at the time A55 Mk II, Oxford Series V, Magnette Mk III, 4/68 and 15/60 were launched in 1959. (First BMC 'Farina' being the A40 the previous year). Cap'n of Athletics, then plain 'Mr' Levene had a new, blue Magnette...years later, a colleague in the Bank used to park his Series V behind my Devon, MLT 858 (ended its days in Blackborough). Some say the the bonniest of the 1489cc cars, the earlier A55, had too short a production run. Desirability of the dhc agreed, John. Owned couple of saloons (as non-runners) which had perhaps become weighty, redundant 'Uncle' Rovers.
