The site says the truck was rally-prepped in 1979, and IIRC the french BL importer was involved in the project, meaning it could be from 1979, or at least younger than 1973.

Not just any Leyland Marathon, but exactly this one : Link to "www.dakardantan.com"

It took part in the 1980 Dakar rally. The site says the truck was rally-prepped in 1979, and IIRC the french BL importer was involved in the project, meaning it could be from 1979, or at least younger than 1973.
