I've found great scans of the launch brochure of the Galant Sigma Hardtop over at Wald-Licht, and I learned that : - that car was launched, with that grille & bumper, in October 1984, - the chassis code was E15A for the 2.0 litre engine (although later versions such as the V6-powered ons had other codes), - I was going to put "hardtop" as extra info but then discovered that those Galants actually came with "Galant Sigma HT" badges on the boot lid.
