The roofline of the photo car doesnt match a 1964-69 Rambler American wagon...

If not the Victor FC; could it be a Chevrolet Chevy II? http://www.chevynova.com/reference/literature/index.php?g2_itemId=10983

Is it too far fetched to suggest a 1967-72 Vauxhall Victor FD http://www.pioneer-automobiles.co.uk/Resources/library2/Vauxhall_Victor_Estate.html ?
That is because of the curvature above the headlamps, but I cannot decide if the waist line above the rear wheel arch has a curvature or not.

Might it be a Cresta [PB] Estate?

Film news crew car I believe so may be something unusual.

I tend to agree probably an imported car in the UK, in the absence of any obvious large estate.

Vauxhall Cresta PB Estate has a different rear roof line without the sharp top corner and the Victor FD Estate, I believe is ruled out by the shorter length of the glass in the load area, the almost circular shape of the wheelarches and the length between the wheelarch and the front of the passenger door.

Yes I think it's a big American station wagon, the front bonnet wing look very large compared to the wheels

A look at the small rear overhang plus the long bonnet makes me think it could be Ford Zephyr/Zodiac Mk.IV - Abbotts of Farnham

Only 50% certain but details look right, the wide black C pillar is covered by the people I think.

You might have something there , two people in the photo still don't cover the gap between the back door hinges and the pillar behind it , but the Abbot has an unusually large pillar in black vinyl so would match . If you see what I mean !

Yes, those overall proportions the long bonnet plus the small rear glass can only match the Zephyr/Zodiac Mk.IV estate car.

So Zephyr or Zodiac?

edit: Default selection, Zodiac in absence of further details.

Zodiac. 1969+ chrome side strip and later slightly less spangly wheel covers = 71+.
