Norton Commando 750 Roadster It says "Norton" on the tank but it's in red script which I've never seen. It's got a front disc brake which came out in 1972. I believe most 750 Commando's had silver (chrome?) instrument casings while the 850's seemed, for the most part, to have black ones. This bike is obviously missing its speedometer. This bike seems to have parts coming from different bikes. I wonder if the tank is a Norton tank, even though it says "Norton" on it (looks a lot like a Sporter tank!). The headlight looks a bit funny (HL shells, as far as I can tell, are chrome in the US, not black and the bracket looks bent). The ignition coil, though, looks in the right place and the master cylinder reservoir looks OK.
