Also known as CJ2/CJ5 depending on engine. This final update for the CE Lancer (designated CE2 MY02.5) went on sale October 2001, and continued to be sold until mid 2003. Only GLi (1.5/1.8) and MR (1.8) trims were offered - the GLXi (1.8) coupe was discontinued. A driver's airbag finally became standard equipment in this update (this was one of the last passenger cars in Australia to make this standard). -- Last edit: 2019-12-31 06:26:27

This final update for the CE Lancer (designated CE2 MY02.5) went on sale October 2001, and continued to be sold until mid 2003. Only GLi (1.5/1.8) and MR (1.8) trims were offered - the GLXi (1.8) coupe was discontinued.
