I just watched this episode on SpikeTV a few minutes ago. A young mother pulled into a parking spot outside her townhouse apartment, and her baby in the backseat started crying. She turned around to check on the baby, thinking she'd put the SUV in park, but she hadn't. The SUV rolled right through into the living room of a neighbor's apartment, and surprisingly the Montero had virtually no damage. It was ruled an accident and no charges were filed. How do we know it's a 1992? This style was made from 1991 to 1999, and the episode was made in 1999, meaning this Montero could have been anywhere from 8 years old to brand spanking new at the time. |

Not quite. This is a narrow-body Montero, so it's an earlier model - 1992-1997 only. The 1998-2000 models received a facelift with new front guards, rear doors and rear panels resulting in a wider stance. 1994-1995 fuel filler door with the key lock. The only motor offered on this trim level back during those years was the 3.0 V6 [V43W]. |
