If I understand this correctly, booth cars (I assume the bottom thumb is one car and the main plus the first thumb is another car) are Consul de luxe's with the bigger rear lights introduced in February 1959 as of 1959 model year. The de luxe versions were usually painted in a different colour on the roof but was also available as single colour, but all of them had the chrome strips beneath the boot lid as can be seen on both cars. That it is a 1959+ can also be seen when looking at the facia, as it has a rectangular instrument housing compare with a semi circular as of earlier versions. -- Last edit: 2014-05-23 12:32:41 |
