engine type: Flathead engine size 61 cubic inch = 1000ccm Link to "www.servicerepairmanualonline.com" but it seems all the flatheads 1951 to be found are smaller 45 = 750ccm Link to "www.midamericaauctions.com" while all the 61 = 1000ccm of 1951 are modern type Panhead engines, ours is no Panhead defintively http://www.harleydavidsonmuseum.com/model-list.html so we have 1951 flathead 45 750ccm or pre 1947 Knucklehead 61 1000ccm http://www.fladdy36.de/home/hdgeschichte.htm -- Last edit: 2014-05-16 03:33:01 |
