Oct 78 onwards Coventry-built TR7s had laurel badge on front instead of TR7 logo and badges on front wing; film date also excludes a Coventry car. TR8s were Coventry built, had wing badges, alloys and a TR8 front script as this picture; also some sources say they did not arrive in US until mid-1979. So either the V8 soundtrack was fake dub, or this might be one of the 150 or thereabouts pre-series (Speke-build) V8 cars as suggested. Not sure if they count as TR8 Pre-production or TR7 V8.
