Apparently CDB 329T is a Super; CDB was a Manchester combination and has lots of Robins in a batch for 32xT - they must have been in heavy demand for taking the whippet along for the weekly black pudding buying ceremony. Or something. DVLA etails for: Date of Liability 01 09 1996 Date of First Registration 13 03 1979 Year of Manufacture 1979 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 848cc CO₂ Emissions Not Available Fuel Type PETROL Export Marker N Vehicle Status Unlicensed Vehicle Colour YELLOW Vehicle Type Approval Not Available |

As the Reliant was built in Staffordshire, which is God's own county despite what any Yorkshiremen might say, it is necessary to point out that the Whippet did not figure in the design spec. It was more a case of fitting the bull terrier in with the oatcakes. Anyway the Whippet was a Willys-Overland design. -- Last edit: 2014-04-25 09:27:07 |

Very popular with retired steelworkers from Rotherham then and now. Michaels of Selby used to sell hundreds of them - http://www.michaelsofselby.co.uk/pages/reliant -- Last edit: 2014-04-25 10:15:36 |

Delicious - I have occasionally smuggled small consignments back home with me from Englandshire. |

I run the occasional gauntlet of the M25 to supply that part of the family which relocated to Sussex. |
