Vogelweh Kaserne is located in Kaiserslautern,West Germany.(Or as we called it "K-Town") This was about 40 min from where I lived twice as a Child/Teenager,Been there many,many times? (PS: They built a new PX in the 1970's?) |

Also: I think it might be the Canadian PX,the RCAF had a detachment there,and they had White Licence Plates? I think US Forces in Germany in '61 were Red w/White letters?(I came back to this one to correct an earlier mistake.1961 US Forces in Germany were White,I had mistakenly thought they were Red....that was the 1962-65 ones? And also,if this is the door to the Vogelweh PX I think it is,back in my time,this door went to the "Sight & Sound" shop.....where you bought Records,Tapes,Stereos,TV's,and Cameras?) -- Last edit: 2016-02-06 22:12:51 |
