Could be a 1750 as well. -- Last edit: 2009-06-27 13:54:12 (G-MANN) |

Right,in fact early chop-tail"Duettos"were based on 1750(injection-feed),but at least in Italy were more diffused 1.3 or 1.6 lt.cheap versions(coming after 1969)rather than Spider 1750 Veloce(carb-feed),being that powerplant destined almost completely at exported ones -- Last edit: 2009-06-27 13:54:24 (G-MANN) |

I agree. In fact, the absence of the 2000 badge ( having only the Iniezione one ) and the conventional rear bumper are signs that this must be a 1971 1750 Spider Veloce equipped with SPICA fuel-injection. Alfa Romeos were not imported in North America in 1970 due to changes in emissions laws. -- Last edit: 2007-07-22 02:44:23 |

One of the results for CA plate 327FXK on www.bar.ca.gov returns as: ALFA 2000 SPIDER VELOCE 1972 |
