It's a Ford ET6 or ET7. Sorry Alexander what you've seen is a Guy GS single deck bus which used the Briggs pressings from the Ford |

The 'cost cutter' petrol engine introduced in November 1953 ET6 applied to Petrol only. At the time the petrol engines went from the old side valve V8 to a new 4 cylinder Ford unit. Badge on radiator seen here is usually for 4D (or 6D) diesel engine (ET7). |
