83boner ◊ 2010-03-31 11:45	Hello, I know this car because it's was bought in lat 1981 by ma father.It is a model of 1972 This car was very Damaged and was in a breakage under a shed near PARIS. My father bought it approximately 15000€. He made re-adorn this car for verry expensive money and used it around ten years. This car is always in its ownership.He says about it that it is its maitresse It rests in a garage near clermont ferrand.

Elle se trouvait sous un abri fermé. Elle était, comme le montre l'image, très endommagée. Il l'a réparée avec des pièces ROLLS d'origine qu'il a directement acheté dans une concession près de LONDRES. Le montant des réparations étaient assez élevé compte tenu de leur importance (ailes, phares, portière, calandre et quelques pièces du moteurs, pneus AVON ETC). L'intérieur a toujours été dans un état impécable. La fiche verte que l'on devine sur la pare brise etait un document de passage administratif en douanes entre la FRANCE et le ROYAUME UNI. Mon père l'a utilisée régulièrement pendant une dizaine d'années. Elle se trouve toujours en sa possession et est maintemant au repos dans un garage (chauffé SVP) près de CLERMNOT FERRAND où elle coule des jours heureux d'une retraite bien méritée. Je précise que le toit dur en vynile noire n'est pas amovible. Il s'agit d'un coupé de 1972.

He went to fetch it from a scrapyard near Paris in a tow-truck. It was in an enclosed shelter. As the picture shows, it was heavily damaged. He repaired it with original ROLLS spare parts, which he bought directly at an agency near LONDON. The cost of repairs was rather high, in view of their significance (wings, headlights, door, grille, various engine parts, AVON tyres etc.) The interior has always been in impeccable condition. The green sticker on the windscreen was an administrative Customs transit document between FRANCE and the UNITED KINGDOM. My father used it regularly for about ten years. It is still in his possession and is now resting in a garage (heated, if you please) near CLERMONT-FERRAND where it enjoys happy hours of a well-earned retirement. I add that the black vinyl hardtop is not removable. It is a 1972 coupé.' Sorry I can't do it into Slovak

By the way, I find really interesting all these comments given by owners of the cars seen in some films. For my own interest I've begun an exel file where I list all these comments, with the pseudo name of the owner, the car and the film concerned by. Antoine, or anyone else have you any other exemples of this kind of comments, that I could enter in my file? At term, I think that it would be a nice possibility for internauts visiting this site, to design a specific feature for a direct list to all of these comments ( I think I've already suggested this device for the site)... i know it might be more work for Antoine!

En réponse à la question de sixcyl "Does your father had an idea of what happened to this poor Corniche to be so damaged?" je ne crois pas que mon père ai jamais connu les circonstances de l'accident. Mais je lui demanderai. Je lui demanderai par ailleurs de me confirmer la date précise de la transaction.

On peut donc déjà y rajouter la Corniche de 53boner En effet, pas très convivial ces 5 pages à dérouler pour avoir une liste fragmentée sans aucun ordre... ça serait tellement mieux si l'on pouvait y accéder directement sur le site.
