all the key points (bumpers, tail lights, emblems) are either obscured or unclear. the round sail pillar emblem rules out the 1970-early 1971 cars. lack of a right side mirror makes earlier more likely, but side molding leans toward later. the most common year range for the dealer installed Appliance Racing brand wheels was 1974-1976, when the Nissan manufactured 4-spoke alloy wheel became readily available. color looks MOST like 304 Gold Metallic which was offered from 8/73-7/75, but other offered colors were similar, and 20 years on a Z almost guarantees a repaint. combined best guess... 1974 260Z. unless or until a capture with some hint of the back end of the car comes to light... |
