night cub ◊ 2019-05-31 21:09	No, they didn't sell well. AMC had just merged with Renault and only had really, really old product to sell. This was a last grasp to bump up sales the way the mid-size Eagle sedan/wagon did a year before, but it was too early for the 4x4 auto craze of the late 80's. They stopped making them because I believe the factory needed to be converted to make the Renault Alliance [9], which was the first truly new model that AMC made since the Pacer.
