If it was an 81-84 Town Car there would be something visible; From 1981-83 the badges read from driver's side to passenger's; Lincoln, Automatic Overdrive, and Town Car: 81-83 Town Car In 1984 the trunk lid read Town Car on the driver's side and Lincoln on the passenger: 1984 Town Car. Leaving us with the much more difficult to spot 1980 the Continental Script located in side the reflector on the passenger side: 1980 Continental
