zodiac ◊ 2014-01-10 14:40	This raised hood was fitted to make the 240-range look more upmarket. That is as it originally was fitted only to the 260-series, but as the 260's was replaced in 1982 by the 760-series that is also the year the 240 got it. It was not originally fitted on the DL, but the GL upwards from 1982 until 1985.

MisterZ ◊ 2014-01-10 14:49	You can tell what year the registration is from by the starting letter of the plate. Sometimes, older cars will have a newer registration plate, though, which makes it difficult. However, it's very rare that a newer car will have an older plate (which seems to be the case here). -- Last edit: 2016-05-01 23:19:31
