It looks so different from other 1983 LTD  Btw we have some later LTD that also look different but that are labelled both with same name: /vehicle_55559-Ford-LTD-1985.html vs /vehicle_20897-Ford-LTD-1985.html |

I think 1983 and later versions of this car are called LTD Crown Victoria since the midsize Fairmont Futura was restyled and renamed LTD in 1983. |

Yeah 1983 full-sizes were renamed to "Crown Victoria". '79-'82 full-sizes were just LTD with Crown Victoria being the top of the line trim level for the sedans. The restyled Fairmont was introduced as the LTD (funny thing was that the Fairmont was classified as a compact car, but the LTD was classified as mid-size when they were the same size). |
