Look at the fenders. It's a 1967 , because the 1968 had vents in the fenders. This is no 1968 model. This should be listed a a 1967. -- Last edit: 2011-02-04 00:57:51 |

Yes, they were. Very clever on Pixar's part. On second note, would it be a good idea if someone changed the additional information from 'Beetle' to 'Vroomaroundus Bugus'? According to the Pixar Wiki, that's the official name for this specific 'species' of VW, as mentioned on the Cars Blu-Ray 'Cars Finder' feature. http://pixar.wikia.com/Vroomaroundus_Bugus Anyone agree/disagree? |

Check out the wings. The wings have the Volkswagen logo in them. |

I don't usually comment too much on an animation movie (Cars on the other hand...) But if the horn vents are missing, what about the bumper brackets, the indicators, the wipers... If anything, there seems to be bulgy dog dish bowl hub caps. VW logo in the wings (not the fenders, right)? Could be, but logos are usually not visible due to copyrights -- Last edit: 2018-02-28 19:37:55 |

That could be in the extra info section. |
