Really filmed in the Philippines or just a faked scene? It doesn't say anything about Philippine filming locations on IMDb. And if made after 1987, then for sure not built in Japan, as listed now. |

This is a genuine footage filmed in the Philippines. I think this is what they call the L300 PET, and certainly not an FB model. |

Regarding those local L300 bodies, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines still shows on its website a brochure from 2009 with all the available variations. - the FB (for "Family and Business") is a metal box body with windows and seats, - the PET (for "People and Equipment Transport"), same as above but with rollup canvas instead of windows, - the WT (for "Water Tight" !), a box body with no windows, - and the DS, a drop side bed body. https://mmpc.ph/model/l300/ |
