Really filmed in the Philippines or just a faked scene? It doesn't say anything about Philippine filming locations on IMDb. And if made after 1987, then for sure not built in Japan, as listed now.

That version of L300 FB can be had as a aluminum truck version

This is a genuine footage filmed in the Philippines. I think this is what they call the L300 PET, and certainly not an FB model.

Regarding those local L300 bodies, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines still shows on its website a brochure from 2009 with all the available variations.

- the FB (for "Family and Business") is a metal box body with windows and seats,

- the PET (for "People and Equipment Transport"), same as above but with rollup canvas instead of windows,

- the WT (for "Water Tight" !), a box body with no windows,

- and the DS, a drop side bed body.
