It says Austin on the front grille. Although this scene is meant to take place in London, it's actually filmed in Sydney (the real shots we see of London are stock footage). -- Last edit: 2020-02-01 11:47:12 |

It's now listed as a 1997 Austin FX4 which can't be right.  They were no longer sold as Austins after 1982 (as the comment above says) and some details of this such as the wheel covers, mirrors and wipers mean that this should be newer. It has the older type of bumper but this could have been replaced. The Austin badge is fake, it doesn't match the ones usually fitted to these. I think this is rather an LTI Fairway. Is anything more seen of it? The plate matches a 1997 Carbodies Taxi = LTI Fairway, but that car is still in registation here.
