VIN returns: built: August 21, 1998, "LX" trim, 2.0L Zetec-E EFI (HC), 4-Speed Automatic - CD4E [HD] chassis code was used in Australia for Mondeos built from August 1998 until end of 1999. They don't all have them. Toyota Australia don't use them (nor do Nissan). However, Ford and Holden (and Mitsubishi) do; because they use these codes for their locally made models (Falcon and Commodore), they also apply them to all of their imported models as well. -- Last edit: 2014-07-04 08:44:15 |
