 Why do you think its a W115? It could also be a W114, but W115 is more common

Yes, the only optical difference, except the badges, was the front bumper. The 6-cylinder-W114 had a double one. But not always. There was a 6-cylindered 230, which belongs to the W114-range, but only had the single W115 front bumper.
