Eventhough I can't see two door handles I would guess that this is a 1954 Commander or Champion Regal 4-door Sedan. |

Even though the grille teeth are hard to see, this is a '54 per hood ornament, side trim and enlarged bumper guards. Not a Land Cruiser as no rear door vent windows. Can't tell Commander vs Champion as the front fender emblem is missing. (It would be a V-8 emblem if Commander or a circle S emblem if Champion.) |

Here are some photos that can hopefully contribute to indentification: This was used as the Deputy Superintendent's of Police (Bombay Police) car in the movie. It is led on a long chase through narrow traffic in the scenes it is used. |

I was hopeful the relevant emblems would still be on the left side of the car but it never appears. |

The left side of the car is never shown oddly. I guess just the way it was filmed the right was only shown in turning. |

Hood badge looks like an 'S' rather than '8' so I'd say Champion. |
