Wrong. It is a 1978 Plymouth Fury. |

I'm pretty sure it is a Plymouth Gran Fury too. Do you have any proof, Rocker B.J., that prooves otherwise? |
|

It's definitely a Fury, not a Gran Fury. The Gran Fury was a bigger car at this time. |

Is there any side pictures of this car? That would help to tell if it is a Gran Fury or a Fury. |

Yikes! That light is huge! They'd probably need the 440 to compensate for that. Also, if you're gonna be posting in French, shouldn't you be doing it on the original French version of this website? |

The language options just change the website's user interface. The database -- the pictures and comments -- is the same. |

the light looks like R2-D2 is riding on the roof! why were they so huge? |

I believe the large chrome base is the siren housing. |

Can't you put it in English?(if you can) so we all can read your comments, it's not like they're top secret. -- Last edit: 2007-10-18 04:47:04 |

3 stars. Four are used in addition to the Chrysler Newport for the entirity of the chase. |

Given those singular rotary lights, I'm led to believe that this movie's production staff acquired a few retired Michigan State Police cars and just painted them over with Detroit PD's livery. Or, did Detroit PD really outfit their cars in that manner at one time? |

I always liked that paintjobs on the 70's Detroit police cars- so much better than the scheme they used from the early to late 2000's. |
